- Drive and coordinate sustainability activities across the APAC region in line with Krones sustainability strategy and ESG objectives
- Act as the APAC Sustainability Officer within the established APAC Sustainability Network and support regional sustainability governance and reporting
- Report directly to the Head of Strategic Business Development APAC, who defines and steers the regional sustainability strategy and priorities
- Coordinate sustainability execution for the production plant in India (KMIN), ensuring strong local implementation, monitoring, and ongoing operational support
- Ensure compliance with Indian environmental regulations, including water management, wastewater, waste and hazardous waste handling, energy efficiency, and emissions
- Coordinate and align with KMIN plant management, local HSE, and Quality functions, who remain the primary interface to local authorities and regulators
- Act as sustainability expert interface towards auditors and internal stakeholders, supporting audits, assessments, and corrective actions
- Ensure effective execution, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ISO 14001–certified Environmental Management System (EMS) for KMIN, including audit support
- Monitor and report sustainability KPIs related to energy, water, waste, emissions, and overall environmental performance at plant and regional level.
- Drive resource efficiency, reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement in alignment with APAC and Group sustainability targets
- Coordinate the ESG representatives/ sustainability coordinators across APAC subsidiaries to ensure consistent application of sustainability standards and best practices
- Take care of social sustainability topics in APAC, including diversity and inclusion, employee health and well-being, occupational health initiatives, and awareness
- Support alignment of social sustainability practices across APAC entities, considering cultural, regulatory, and organizational specifics
- Prepare inputs for APAC sustainability meetings and support cross-functional initiatives involving for example, Quality, Operations, HR
Your Profile You contribute
- Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability Management, Environmental Management, ESG, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of environmental laws, ESG standards, and sustainability regulations in manufacturing environments
- Experience or solid understanding of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and audit processes
- Knowledge of sustainability KPIs, resource efficiency, and environmental performance monitoring
- Experience in the bottling, packaging, or industrial manufacturing sector is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Krones portfolio or systems is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- High learning aptitude and ability to work across cultures within a regional APAC setup
