Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee preparation of accurate financial statements and management reports for all APAC entities comply with local & IFRS.
- Ensure P&L and balance sheet compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies.
- Manage annual audit processes with appointed auditors to ensure timely and compliant reporting.
- Implement corporate guidelines for tax and year-end closing processes.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Oversee and ensure proper process to identify compliance related to tax/regulation risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support annual risk assessments related to accounting and management reporting.
- Establish clarity on local regulations and tax requirements across APAC countries.
Operational & Strategic Finance
- Manage Net Working Capital and asset investments in line with regional and group targets.
- Maintain professional relationships with treasury and banking partners.
- Ensure proper organizational structure and accounting practices to support business growth.
- Ensure availability of accurate financial information for Regional Committee decision-making.
Shared Services & Special Projects
- Oversee shared services operations in selected APAC countries, ensuring efficiency and alignment with corporate standards/strategies.
- Support projects related to regional growth, including finance, tax, cost, and profit center initiatives.
Your Profile You contribute
- CPA-qualified with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Extensive experience in audit, accounting, finance controlling, and management reporting, including leadership responsibility within a regional or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, consolidation, taxation, audit management, treasury, and internal controls.
- Experience managing finance operations across multiple APAC countries, including shared services environments.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), advanced Excel, and financial reporting tools such as Power BI or Hyperion.
- Solid understanding of APAC financial regulations, risk management, and corporate governance.
- Strong business partnering capabilities with the ability to translate financial insights into business decisions.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing regional teams, driving performance, and leading change initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across cultures, business environments, and time zones.
