- Develop and execute financial strategies to improve operational efficiency and support business growth across the Asia Pacific region.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and optimal utilization of resources.
- Partner with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain accurate financial reporting and ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial performance, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of financial systems, tools, and reporting processes to improve efficiency, data integrity, and reporting accuracy.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives within finance shared services operations to enhance productivity, standardization, and service quality.
- Develop and deliver training programs on finance policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to strengthen organizational capability and promote accountability.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with external auditors, ensuring timely preparation and submission of financial statements and audit documentation.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, management dashboards, and business performance analyses for regional leadership meetings.
- Support governance, risk management, and compliance activities to safeguard financial controls and maintain adherence to company policies and external regulations.
Your Profile You contribute
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
- CPA qualification is required.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities within multinational organizations.
- Prior experience with a audit firm and multinational corporate environment
- Strong expertise in IFRS, group accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, and statutory compliance.
- Proven experience managing finance shared services, regional finance operations, and transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of APAC tax regulations, financial governance, and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage audits, strengthen internal controls, and drive regulatory compliance.
- Strong treasury management experience, including banking relationships, cash flow forecasting, and working capital optimization.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Hyperion.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities with a strong business partnering mindset.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
