  • Act as the primary HR contact for managers and employees, providing advice and guidance on a broad range of HR matters.
  • Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, employee engagement, and offboarding.
  • Support managers with employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, and capability issues.
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, contracts, and documentation are compliant and up to date.
  • Manage monthly payroll processes through an external payroll provider, ensuring accurate and timely submission of employee data, salary changes, absences, bonuses, and benefits information.
  • Act as the liaison between the business and external payroll provider, resolving payroll queries and ensuring statutory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR data in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities and partner with managers to attract and retain talent.
  • Support training and development initiatives to enhance employee capability and performance.
  • Monitor changes in employment legislation and implement necessary updates to policies and practices.
  • Produce HR reports and key people metrics to support business decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and contribute to organisational growth and change initiatives.

Your Profile You contribute

  • Proven experience in a standalone HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or HR Business Partner role.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience managing payroll inputs and working closely with an outsourced payroll provider.
  • Demonstrable employee relations experience, with the confidence to advise managers on a range of people matters.
  • Experience supporting recruitment and talent acquisition activities.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commercially aware with a practical and solution-focused approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Relevant HR qualification (e.g. CIPD or equivalent) desirable.
  • Fluent Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
