Krones do Brasil Ltda. is looking for a professional to work in the area of Methods and Processes Engineering, who will be responsible for working in person, leading the team. This position requires strong technical and people management skills, being responsible for guiding and developing the team in the analysis and preparation of technical lists and manufacturing and assembly routings for parts, assemblies and machines. The professional will be responsible for defining make-or-buy strategies, based on technical criteria, cost analysis and production capacity, ensuring operational efficiency, product quality and alignment with the company's strategic objectives. They will also work in an integrated manner with the production sectors, offering technical support and promoting the standardization and continuous improvement of processes.
- Fully comply with the company's Health, Safety, and Environment Policy standards and guidelines.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor procedures, work instructions, and criteria for defining the best make-or-buy method for parts, assemblies, and machines, aiming for the lowest cost, quality, delivery time, and optimization of productive resources.
- Develop machining and assembly routings through the analysis of drawings and product specifications, defining: technologies, production time for each operation (setup/execution), economic batch size, devices, methods, and appropriate tools, in order to guarantee the manufacture of parts and assemblies according to the project.
- Develop CNC programs for different machining processes, such as machining centers, CNC lathes, laser cutting, and other technologies, using CAD/CAM software.
- Seek and develop new technologies and production, assembly, and industrialization processes for parts, products, and assemblies.
- Collect and monitor statistical data related to performance indicators of production processes, such as manufacturing times, efficiency, and capacity, preparing weekly and monthly reports for evaluation and support of decision-making by the Production and Planning Management.
- Improve existing or new processes, conducting studies to reduce industrial costs (machines, raw materials, and tools).
- Monitor production routings, procedures, work instructions, and inspection criteria, ensuring their correct application in the system.
- Develop effective action plans based on the analysis of the root causes of a nonconformity, aiming at the definitive elimination of the problem.
- Implement and conduct training for new processes developed.
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing area by clarifying doubts, developing devices, and preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), aiming at standardization and continuous improvement of processes.
- Coordinate and develop the Methods and Processes Engineering team, promoting a collaborative, results-oriented environment focused on continuous improvement, with a systemic view of technical and administrative processes, responsibility, commitment to company objectives and deadlines, and reliability.
- Support the Supervision in managing the review and validation of machining and assembly routing times, in order to increase the accuracy of production routings.
- Propose project changes aimed at manufacturing according to the company's internal resources, together with Product Engineering.
- Among the multipliers of the integrated management system, assisting the manager in the preparation and review of procedures in accordance with ISO standards.
- Develop effective action plans based on root cause analysis of non-conformities, aiming at the definitive elimination of the problem.
- Prepare studies for updating and renewing the factory floor, indicating machines, equipment, and layout rationalization.
- Support the responsible Supervisor in creating, maintaining, and reviewing operational diagrams and instructions, ensuring their compliance with ISO standard requirements, promoting standardization and continuous process improvement.
- Perform other related activities as directed by the immediate supervisor.

Education and Qualification Requirements
- Desirable Intermediate English; Knowledge of German and/or Spanish will be considered a plus.
- Desirable Completed Higher Education and/or Technical degree in the areas of Mechanics, Production, Technology, Mechanics, Precision Mechanics or related areas.
- Desirable Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in industry with production in the metal/mechanical area and custom-made machines and equipment.
- Required Knowledge of machining processes, laser cutting, bending and welding processes.

- Interpretation of mechanical technical drawings (high and low precision), manufacturing and assembly technical drawings, layouts with dimensions and scales, technical manuals, and devices. Knowledge of metrology, unit conversion, and measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of machining and boiler making manufacturing processes, CNC milling machines with 4 axes, CNC lathes with Y-axis, conventional machines, bench drill, laser cutting, bending, punching and welding (TIG, MIG and Laser).
- Knowledge of surface finishing processes, such as tumbling, sandblasting, deburring, passivation, anodizing, galvanizing, electrolytic and manual polishing.
- Solid knowledge of software (CAM and CAD), for programming Edgecam, Lantek and Solid Edge for 2D/3D drawings or other related software.
- Solid knowledge of the ERP system - SAP (MM and PP modules) for generating reports and transactions for manufacturing processes (CA01, CS01, MD04, etc.).
- Intermediate level of English required for communication with global teams.
