Your Role
The Field Service Technician contributes to the organizational goals by carrying out maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting interventions on all Krones packaging machines in any field location assigned to. The Service Technician will also provide technical recommendations or related training to customers and prepare required administrative reports ensuring that production efficiency is optimized and improved, and losses or risks are minimized.
Your Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of new KRONES machines and lines
- Troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades and fault correction of existing and new machines
- Programming of industrial control systems and interfaces
- Follow-up on all technical interventions at any assigned location
- Preparation of required administrative reports and documentation
- On time communication with specialists in the factories, site managers, CSC team, Dispo team or customers
- Route requests from customers through CSC and Dispo teams for appropriate scheduling
- Leverage on the knowledge of experienced colleagues, CSC and site managers for technical clarification and support
Your Profile You contribute
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical, electromechanics or mechanical engineering
- A minimum of 5 years technical working experience in the Brewing/Packaging industry
- Good knowledge of Krones product portfolio
- Willingness to travel from time to time
- Problem solver with technical curiosity and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in speaking and writing English language
- Must possess an international passport
- Good IT literacy and experience with Microsoft office tools
