Job Purpose
The role requires a dedicated person who is passionate about imparting knowledge. The trainer is required to be qualified and accredited within South Africa and Krones AG to train, develop and coach customer operators and Electrical artisans as well as be able to train and coach Krones Technicians within their respective discipline. This role requires frequent travel as well as high levels of preparation.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Training preparation (topics, required documents/equipment, travel organization, etc.) as well as maintenance or updating of the training equipment according to series status
- Imparting technical and product knowledge (defined subject area), such as assembly, troubleshooting, maintenance, operation, etc. in the training room as well as practical (e.g. on machines/systems/simulation tools, etc.)
- Performance assessment according to specified standards
- Training follow-up, such as obtaining feedback, evaluations, documentation, etc.
- Incorporation of individual modules into the training documentation in coordination
- Planning and implementation of training courses according to the identified needs in close coordination with the relevant clients
Your Profile You contribute
Qualification and Experience
- N3-N6 or Technical Diploma in Electrical/Automation/Instrumentation with a Trade Certificate
- 5+ years of professional experience in the field, specifically on Krones equipment
- Good knowledge of Automation and Inspection technology
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Experience in PLC Programming (Siemens TIA portal/S7)
- Electrical and Control Systems
- HMI and communication protocols
- Maintenance and trouble shooting of Krones inspection technology
