Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supplier quality strategies, processes, and standards.
  • Lead supplier audits, Evaluate, qualify, and approve new suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards, and quality metrics and Ensure suppliers maintain robust quality management systems
  • Review and approve supplier quality documentation including PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
  • Manage non-conformance reports and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) though 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Identify quality risks within the supply chain and implement mitigation plans.
  • Drive supplier continuous improvement initiatives &  Collaborate with suppliers to reduce defects, improve process capability, and enhance product quality.
  • Lead supplier performance improvement projects.
  • Create & edit internal and external complaints in SAP-QM & maintain the documentation in SAP
  • Work closely with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Logistics teams.

 

Your Profile You contribute

Knowledge required:

  • Hands-on experience with a wide range of inspection and measurement instruments
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including RCA, 7 QC Tools, Six Sigma
  • Excellent ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and technical specifications.
  • Able to lead FMEA, PPAP, MSA, and Process Capability Studies (Cp, Cpk).
  • Knowledge on Quality Management Systems (QMS), particularly ISO 9001 standards.
  • Ability to lead and mentor quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
  • Experience working with SAP for Quality Assurance related activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting, analysis, and documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualification:
•    BE in Mechanical Engineering Or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

•    10+ years of experience in Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) in supplier development
